Mr. Hubbell focuses his practice on energy and natural resource law. Having begun his practice as a clerk at Pruitt Gushee in 2006 he has years of experience with federal, state, Indian and fee title examination. Mr. Hubbell began his career examining title in older federal units in Utah and then became immersed in complex fee title examination in the Wattenberg Field in Colorado. From mid-2011, his practice has been largely devoted to rendering concise title opinions with straightforward recommendations for title curative for clients operating in the Bakken formation in North Dakota and Montana. In his opinion, without any old federal lease and unitization issues, it isn’t intriguing title until it contains a ghost town, a meandering river, ambiguous depth limitations and a railroad or two.
