Aaron has a varied background in the law, including 15 years as an impact litigator in state and federal court, 10 years as spokesperson and strategic communications director for a civil rights nonprofit, and 5 years as a registered lobbyist. He brings a wealth of experience guiding clients through shifting legal and regulatory terrain, offering a wide range of legal services to businesses and individuals. This breadth of expertise is brought to bear in helping clients mitigate risks, secure interests, and vindicate legal rights within a diverse array of practice areas and commercial contexts.
Since joining Lear & Lear in 2022, Aaron’s practice has focused on mineral title curative (including probate and quiet title actions), estate planning, general civil litigation, business law, contracts, and a broad range of both citizen-government and business-regulator interactions, including administrative appeals before federal and state agencies. By providing a sharp, tactical view of the social, political, and commercial landscape through a unique and expansive legal lens, Aaron’s client-centered approach has proven invaluable to businesses and individuals looking for the right mix of advocate, advisor, litigator and strategic counselor to help them achieve their goals.
Aaron is licensed in Utah, admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and assists and advises other Lear & Lear attorneys practicing in numerous jurisdictions including Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana.
