Kathryn’s primary areas of practice include title examination, due diligence concerning mineral acquisitions, and probate. Kathryn serves clients primarily in Utah and North Dakota.

Kathryn has reviewed thousands of documents including deeds, leases, bills of sale, agreements, rights-of-way, easements, trusts, and encumbrances, in order to chain title and prepare calculations for mineral and surface interests in the course of creating original and supplemental title opinions. She has worked on several projects advising various clients regarding the acquisition and divestiture of various energy assets. She also works with private parties as well as other attorneys to probate mineral estates in Utah and North Dakota.
